Well I'm taking it day by day
and I'm running out of things to say
The lights are off and I'm in
a trance of laziness in my skin
How late am I for work, the bills,
the rent, energy I exert
Tired all the time but I can't sleep
Thinking bout the memories
that I can't keep

Hop in the shower let the steam
rise to the ceiling
Tears fill my eyes as I'm
reminded of the feeling
of what it's like to be alone with
no ears to hear the sadness
that fills my heart each
and every year
The pain chips off the walls and the
sinks begin to clog
Everyone can see but I'm constantly
stuck in a fog

I'm not thinking clearly meeting women
in the middle of the night
Who's names I can't remember ask me
to slap choke or bite
I'm not sure if I could ever love again
The only passion that I have is when
a pen's in my hand
I'm not embarrassed to admit that I
prefer to be alone
There's something about all of you and
not the right emotion shown
Suddenly one comes along that really
catches my eye
Her looks may be good but the last one
turned to cyanide
